My family grows potatoes, but what should I do if it cools down and freezes these two days?

Measures to be taken for freezing injury of potato after sowing

(1) Ditching. For low-lying land, the drainage ditch should be excavated as soon as possible after the freezing injury is lifted, so as to reduce the water level, eliminate waterlogging, avoid potato pieces from rotting due to accumulated water, and at the same time raise the soil temperature as soon as possible to promote plant recovery.

(2) intertillage and soil cultivation. After low temperature freezing, the soil is hardened and the humidity is high, and the root activity of potato will decrease after freezing. At this time, intertillage can loosen soil, raise soil temperature and promote root growth and development.

(3) Check the lost nest. For the plots that have not emerged, check the freezing situation of underground seed potatoes, find out the frozen parts of seed potatoes, and re-accelerate germination and replant to avoid the loss of nests and affect the yield.

(4) fertilization. Fertilization should be carried out after the freezing injury is lifted and the plants return to slow growth. Fertilization should not be performed immediately after freezing injury. Methods: Spraying foliar fertilizer, such as 0.2% ~ 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate (60 ~ 80 kg/mu), on lightly frozen fields can enhance plant resistance and promote growth recovery. For fields with moderate or severe freezing injury after emergence, topdressing biogas slurry, manure and other quick-acting full fertilizers, or topdressing urea 10kg/ mu to promote tuber germination and recovery.

(5) disease prevention. After freezing injury at low temperature, potato fields are prone to two kinds of soil-borne diseases: verticillium wilt (mainly germinated parts) and sheath blight (mainly sown, germinated but not germinated parts). Therefore, in addition to routine control of late blight and bacterial wilt, active measures should be taken to prevent these two diseases. Control method: 600-800 times of 50% carbendazim wettable powder and 600-800 times of 3% guangkuling are used to control verticillium wilt and damping-off disease; Spraying 3% Zhongshengmycin wettable powder, 0/00g water per mu/kloc, 60-80kg agricultural streptomycin or 2,000 times (2 million units) to control bacterial diseases such as bacterial wilt; 600 ~ 800 times of 80% Sheng Da wettable powder or 400 ~ 500 times of 25% metalaxyl to control late blight.

(6) Pay attention to prevent low temperature frost again. Pay close attention to the weather forecast. If there is frosty weather, cover it with plastic film before frost and cover it after frost. Generally, plastic film is used per mu 10 kg. If conditions do not permit, the smoking density should be increased, with 4 ~ 5 smoking spots per mu.
