Do you know the site that advanced the history of China civilization by 1000 years?

Chaoyang is a prefecture-level city in Liaoning. What was it called at that time? Longcheng? Located in the west of Liaoning Province, it is a historical city with many nationalities in Northeast China and an important town beyond the Great Wall in past dynasties. Neolithic period belongs to Hongshan Culture, where there are Niuheliang site and Dongshanzui site. The statue of Goddess was found at Niuheliang site in Chaoyang, Liaoning, which witnessed the history of Chinese civilization for 5,000 years and advanced the history of Chinese civilization by 1000 years.

After 1979, more Hongshan Culture sites that shocked the world were discovered. There are 609 sites in Kazuo County, among which 24 pieces of Hongshan Culture pottery are collected, some of which are rich and colorful. A stone wall made of square stones was found in Dongshanzui. Dongshanzui site is not only special, but also unusual. The south is a circular building site, the north is square, and then the east and west are symmetrical, with a central axis. The architectural layout is not only completely different from the centripetal style of Yangshao culture, but also has many similarities with the architectural layout of later generations. The site also unearthed a large number of painted pottery with different shapes, as well as unprecedented human pottery statues, jade dragon heads and turquoise bird-shaped ornaments.

Even more amazing, archaeologists found human bones on a hill called Niuheliang at the junction of Jianping and Lingyuan counties. A sarcophagus tomb with an east-west direction, 2 meters long and 0.8 meters wide was exposed. All the evidence clearly points to Hongshan Culture, although no grave has ever been found in Hongshan Culture before. Niuheliang Tomb is not a pit tomb like other prehistoric cultures, but a unique stone-piled tomb, with a stone-built tomb boundary, which is square and round. The two tombs overlap each other, especially with covered stones and mud, and the structure is complex. The excavation of the head of the goddess temple shocked the world.

She is the ancestor of Hongshan people thousands of years ago and the sacrificial object of this site. The height of the head is 22.5 cm, which is equivalent to life size. Seen from the back, it is supported by upright wooden columns. The high relief head has a raised forehead, steep forehead, full cheeks, round chin, small and slender ears, which is very feminine. The determination of carbon 14 confirmed that Niuheliang was the site of Hongshan Culture more than 5000 years ago. Since the Erlitou site was discovered in 1959, the history of Chinese civilization with empirical evidence has been fixed more than 4000 years ago. The measurement results of Niuheliang site are directly ahead of time by 1000 years.
