The toll system of Yi Expressway adopts a closed toll system, and there are five on-ramp toll stations (Wuxi West, Luqu, Changcao, Qiting and Yixing West). The charging method is a semi-automatic charging method of "manually distinguishing vehicle types, issuing access cards at the entrance, recycling at the exit, checking cards, calculating tolls, manually charging, computer management, supplemented by vehicle detector inspection and closed-circuit television monitoring", and collecting tolls according to vehicle types and mileage. The system makes full use of computer, data communication technology and system engineering methods to collect, open accounts, transmit and analyze the toll data, so that it can share information with the whole expressway south network in Jiangsu Province. At the same time, the system provides a means for the assessment of toll stations and improves the comprehensive economic benefits of toll stations. The Wuxi-Yicheng section of Provincial Highway 342 was officially opened to traffic yesterday. So far, the provincial highway has successfully run through Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou in our province. It forms a road network pattern of "one master and one standby" with Zhiyi Expressway, and provincial highway 342 shares part of transit traffic. In the future, the expressway will be closed due to bad weather such as fog, and provincial highway 342 can be used as another choice for passenger and cargo transportation. Provincial Highway 342 starts from Changshu, Suzhou in the east, passes through Wuxi, Changzhou and Yixing in the west, and finally reaches the junction of Yixing and Anhui Guangde. It is an important east-west intercity highway in southern Jiangsu. It connects Wuxi, Yixing, Changshu and other central towns along the line and will be an important road to southern Anhui. Yixing-Guangde section has been opened to traffic.
