How about decorating and painting in winter?

Many people think that it is very cold in winter and it is not suitable for painting latex paint. In fact, this view is a bit one-sided. When my home was renovated last year, it was painted in winter. When painting walls in winter, we must pay attention to several aspects:

1, because the weather is cold, there is moisture or condensation on the wall or surface. If you brush the wall paint or primer directly without treatment, once the temperature rises, small bubbles will form and crack.

The most important thing is that the previous paint must be thoroughly dried, and the next paint must be thoroughly dried, otherwise it will crack easily in spring.

3. It is beneficial to keep a relatively balanced temperature in the room as a whole. If there is heating in the room, it is best to turn the heating to the maximum, but don't bake it with ordinary lights, otherwise the uneven heating of the wall will cause different shades of the wall, making the wall look colorful. A small solar lamp can be used for construction, which can increase the indoor temperature in a balanced way.

4. When the indoor temperature goes up, the problem of painting will be less. It is worth mentioning that painting latex paint is a technical activity, and it must be done by a professional master with many years of work experience to ensure the construction effect!

Because of the low temperature in winter, things dry slowly and the construction period is longer when decorating. In winter decoration, because the plate itself is in a shrinking state, if it is installed too tightly at this time, the plate will heat up when the temperature is hot in summer. If the joint is too small at that time, it will be deformed later because there is no extended position. Although winter decoration has some disadvantages, it also has its own factors suitable for decoration. Winter does not affect painting. The quality of paint directly affects the final effect of decoration. Because the baking of indoor heating in winter makes the air dry and the paint dries quickly, thus effectively reducing the adsorption of dust particles in the air. At this time, the paint brushed out has the best effect.

Some people know that there is no heating in winter in the south, and painters have requirements for the environment during construction. For example, if the temperature is too low, there is no way to construct. Forced construction has a great influence on the chemical reaction and strength of basic materials such as anti-crack mortar, plastering gypsum and bottom putty powder, and painters had better not construct in rainy days (high air moisture content has a great influence on the adhesion of paint to plates).

The biggest problem in the north is heating. If there is no heating, the painter can't work. Due to the low temperature, materials such as wall fixing, anti-crack mortar, plastering gypsum and putty powder cannot be effectively bonded together, and these materials cannot be constructed without heating in cold winter.

But it doesn't matter whether there is heating or not.

Therefore, winter construction mainly focuses on rainy days and temperatures. If these factors have no influence, winter construction is the same as other seasons (temperature and humidity changes should also be paid attention to in other seasons), and painting or latex paint is completely fine.
