How to write an English notice composition

English notices can be divided into two categories, namely written notices and oral notices. The writing format and requirements are as follows:

First, pay attention to the signs

A written notice is a written official announcement or notice, which is usually posted in a conspicuous position and marked with the word notice. In order to be eye-catching, each letter of the notice can be capitalized (but it should also be capitalized if the unit that sent the notice appears on the notice sign in capital form), and it is often written in the middle of the top of the text. Signs may or may not be numbered. Oral notices are marked with announcements, but they are generally omitted.

Second, the unit and time of notification

The name of the person or unit that issued the notice is generally written in the lower right corner above the sign or behind the text; The time to send the notice should be written in the lower left corner of the text, or in the upper right corner of the text according to the letter format. III. Text of the notice

The text should clearly indicate the specific time, place, general content (mostly the first sentence of the written notice), attendees and related matters needing attention. Work content and requirements should be clearly written in the notice of work arrangement. Words can generally be in the form of articles or eye-catching advertisements. The type of advertisement requires conciseness. You can write several lines in a sentence, and the first letter of each line is generally capitalized.

Fourth, the object of notification.

The notified unit or individual generally uses a third person; However, if there are addressing terms, the second person is used to represent the notified object, and the second person is often used to represent the notified object in oral notice. When it comes to requirements or precautions, the second person is often used to indicate the notified object (often omitted in imperative sentences).

Verb (abbreviation for verb) notification style

The written notice has proper words, concise sentences and words; Oral notice should pay attention to colloquialism. Oral notices often begin with appellations (notice recipients), such as "boys and girls", "ladies and gentlemen" and "gay friends". Or use sentences to remind the audience's attention, such as "attention!" "Attention, please!" "May I have your attention, please?" And so on, and it is better to have a conclusion, such as "forlistening" to show politeness.
