Geography of Liunan District

Liuzhou belongs to the northern margin of the south subtropical zone, with an average temperature of 2.5℃. After entering the dog days, the daily average temperature is between 24-27℃, the highest average temperature in July is 28.8℃, and the annual temperature exceeds 35℃ for about 2 days. The extreme maximum temperature appeared in 1953 and reached 39.2℃. Because it is located at the southern edge of the continental cold high, affected by the southward cold air mass in western Mongolia, the daily average temperature can drop below 5℃ in winter, and when the lowest temperature drops to about 1 degree, frost, freezing and continuous rainy weather appear.
