In what season does dusty weather often appear?

Sandstorm weather mainly occurs in winter and spring.

This is because there is little precipitation in winter and spring in semi-arid and arid areas, the surface is extremely dry and loose, and the wind erosion resistance is very weak. When strong winds blow, a lot of dust will be entrained in the air, forming sandstorm weather.

Matters needing attention in dusty weather:

① Wear a mask to reduce the damage of sandstorm to respiratory tract. Floating dust, inhalable particles and fine particles will appear at the same time in dusty weather. It is recommended to wear N95 and above protective masks.

② Wear wind-proof glasses to avoid eye damage caused by sandstorm. If the wind and sand enter your eyes, don't rub them with your hands. Rinse with running water or drop eye drops as soon as possible. If you still feel unwell, seek medical advice promptly.

(3) Wear a hat, scarf and other dust-proof appliances, and wrap the head with a scarf to avoid the damage of sandstorm to skin, hair and ears.

Wash your hands and face immediately after you come back, rinse your mouth with clear water, clean your nose, take a bath if possible, change clothes in time, and keep your body clean and comfortable.

In addition, in dusty weather, the air is dry and prone to symptoms such as cleft lip, dry nose and itchy throat. Drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, keep the respiratory tract smooth and moist, and relieve throat discomfort.
