Travel notes of Luan tai
My mother helped me fill the cup with cold boiled water. I put on sun protection clothes, sunglasses, packed my equipment and went downstairs to ride a bike. From the community to the south, enter the 3 1 1 national highway, reach the intersection of Guantang Town to the east, drive into the provincial road leading to Guantang Town, pass through Meigou Village, and directly reach the Luantai station at the northwest end of Pudazhuang Village in Wangpiliu Town.
After passing Meigou village, I walked all the way on the path of farmland, and the strong rural flavor came to my face. Suddenly there is a feeling of "riding a country road and leisurely seeing the countryside". Moistened by the rain last night, the green corn seedlings are full of vitality. They shook their heads in the breeze as if welcoming me. Occasionally, I saw five or six children from nearby villages catching dragonflies by the field and playing games with big brooms; There are three or four old people sitting on Mazar-e-Mazar beside the field chatting; There are also several aunts wrapped in straw in the shoulder nest. In this case, I can't help but sigh that the lives of ordinary people are really leisurely now.
I went up to the old people and said hello to them. I said, grandpa, are you cool here? They said, yes. An old man who looks over 70 years old is very talkative. He told me that there is nothing wrong with planting corn now. This year, it rained well. What are you doing? I said, I am enjoying it now. He said that thanks to the party's good policies, people can live a happy life. I said, listen to you, it should be a village cadre. He said, I am not a cadre, I am party member. I used to be a teacher, but now I'm retired 10 for many years. This year's centenary birthday of the Party, I happened to be party member for 50 years, and I was awarded the "50-year medal within the Party". I can see that the old man feels very proud and glorious.
After getting off the asphalt road in Pudazhuang, there is a simple path with a width of about 1 meter. Because it rained just yesterday, it was still a little wet, but there was not much mud, which did not affect riding. Through the village and into the farmland, the panoramic view of Luantai is presented. There are also old farmers pulling weeds in the fields to enjoy the cool, and villagers taking their children for a leisurely walk on the path.
When we arrived at Luantai, it was already seven o'clock in the evening and the sun had set. I set up the car, first took a panoramic photo of Luantai, and then went to Luantai. The average height of the platform is more than 5 meters, and the south side is paved with slopes to facilitate tourists to get on and off. The slope is about 60 degrees and the width is 3 meters. There is a flat landslide in the middle and stepped slopes on both sides. I counted that there are 70 steps on each side, and the height of the steps is about 10 cm. Because most of the people who come here to make pilgrimages are elderly people, this design is correct.
There is a stone tablet on the east side of the stairs, which reads four characters of Luantai Site. There is a simple shed near the platform in the west. There were five or six people playing cards at that time. I wanted to ask them about the reception desk, but I didn't go for fear of disturbing them. I came to Luantai alone.
There are several brick paths on the platform, and there is a main hall to the north of the gate. There is no plaque on it, and I don't know what it is. There is a temple on each side of the main hall, which is smaller than the main hall and has a plaque on it. The temple in the east is Sun Temple, and the temple in the west is Taiyin Temple. The gate of the three temples is locked, and what is inside is unknown. There is a tripod in the south of the main hall for visitors to enter the incense. Locals often go there to burn incense, and people from other places also come to burn incense. There are lush trees around Luantai, and there is no fence.
Many years ago, the surrounding villagers came here to borrow soil from time to time, and the area of Luantai became smaller and smaller. Later, the local government strengthened the protection of Luantai, which prevented this kind of thing from happening again. According to Pu Changjian, an 80-year-old villager, Luantai has experienced many disasters since I can remember. According to his memory, before liberation, Luantai occupied more than 10 mu, about10,000 square meters, surrounded by choppy rivers. There are tall ancient city walls around Luantai, and there are four watchtowers at the four corners, which are antique and heavily guarded. There are more than 100 rooms on the stage, the most conspicuous of which are the front hall, back hall and attic. There are many statues in the hall, lifelike, lifelike. There are also many stone tablets on the stage, and many pines and cypresses are planted, which look lush. Walking on the stage makes people feel solemn.
Later, the Kuomintang set up a district government on the stage and devoted itself to it. Later, private schools were established on it for the children of some local landlords and wealthy families to go to school. It was not until after liberation that Luantai was peaceful.
According to the investigation of archaeologists, Luantai is the cultural relic and accumulation of Longshan culture and Yueshi culture from the whole Shang Dynasty to the early Warring States period. It is an ancient cultural site, where people lived from the late Dawenkou to the early Warring States period. It has a history of more than 5000 years and rich cultural connotation. Luantai Road in Dongguan, Luyi County is named after this.
There is another legend about Luantai. According to legend, King Luan, the leader of the ancient Luan State in Shang Dynasty, loved the people as a son and was admired by all the people. However, during his reign, disasters occurred frequently and the people were miserable. He opened a warehouse to release grain and save the people from fire and water, but was framed by traitors and killed on April 8 of that year. In order to thank him for saving his life and miss his merits, the local people built a temple next to Luantai to pray, called Luanxiang Temple, which is the ruins of Luantai. Every year on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, the crowds who come to worship are like clouds, gradually forming a large-scale Spring Festival.
In order to reduce the damage to wheat, in the 1920s, two local authorities proposed to change the duration from April 8 to the eighth day of the second lunar month, which has continued to this day.
Nowadays, every year on the eighth day of the second lunar month, people and businessmen from ten miles or even dozens of miles in Fiona Fang will come to Pudazhuang early to catch a large-scale Spring Festival, which lasts for five days, and there are also parties on the third, sixth and ninth of each month. At the meeting, merchants gathered, and all kinds of goods were dazzling. At the same time, a large-scale costume drama spontaneously organized by the masses was staged in the prime location of the village, with a huge audience. The spring festival is even more bustling and lively.
Some people and believers nearby will take this opportunity to burn incense and worship in Luantai. They will burn incense in a pious place to worship King Luan Xiang and wish the whole family happiness and well-being.
I checked some information about Luantai, which is recorded as follows: Luantai is a site from the Neolithic Age to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, covering an area of 7,000 square meters. Mainly the remains of the Neolithic Age, and a small number of remains of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. During the period of 1978, the Henan Second Team of the Institute of Archaeology of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Cultural Relics Section of Zhoukou District Cultural Bureau conducted an investigation on Luantai Site. Luantai site is rich in ancient relics, with thick strata, generally more than 7 meters, and in some places more than 8 meters. 1987 The excavated area of Henan Institute of Cultural Relics is 460 square meters. Archaeologists divide the remains into six periods: the first period is the remains of the late Dawenkou culture. There are only ash pits, and the relics include stone axes, bone implements, clam knives and pots, naan, cans, pots, jars, cups with high handles and other pottery. The second phase is the Longshan cultural site. There are connected ground buildings, wells and ash pits, and the relics include copper blocks, stone tools, bone implements, horns, mussels, pots, pots, beans, pots, pots, cups with high handles, beans, lids, groove carvers, etc. The third phase is Yue's cultural relics. There are houses and ash pits, and the relics include half-moon perforated stones, bones, mussels and pottery such as bends, cans, pots, beans and bowls; The fourth period is the remains of Shang culture. There are only ash pits, and the relics include copper knives, copper trowels, stone tools, bones, bone cones, pots, pots, reeds, beans and other relics; The fifth period is the remains of the Western Zhou Dynasty. There is only a wooden coffin tomb with rectangular vertical holes. The basic combination of pottery is Wei, jar, reed and bean. The sixth period is the remains of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. Pots, pots, beans, bowls, tiles and other pottery are only available in the north. The cultural remains of Luantai site were basically continuous from the late Dawenkou culture to the early Warring States period, which laid the foundation for the chronology of archaeological culture in the pre-Qin period in eastern Henan and provided important information for understanding the relationship between archaeological cultures in eastern Henan.
On the way back from my visit, I accidentally met my old classmate Pu, who works in the town government. He told me that in view of the importance of Luantai site, since February 2007, the town party committee and government have taken a series of measures to strengthen the protection of Luantai site, set up Luantai Management Committee, and appointed a special person to take charge. At the same time, the town and village organizations mobilized local people to raise money, and all the donations received were used for the construction of Luantai. In April 2007, under the leadership of Luantai Management Committee, the masses specially restored and built three halls above Luantai, and erected statues in the halls, built some ancillary facilities and planted some pines and cypresses on the stage.
Although the present Luantai can't be compared with the past grand occasion, the government and the masses have spontaneously protected Luantai, and it has gradually recovered its former appearance. I believe that in the near future, Luantai site will be built better and better.
