The seventh day of driving: Batang-Mangkang-Zuogong, passing through the worst section of Sichuan-Tibet line 3 18.

That day, we drove back to Litang from Shangri-La Town, and it was already past 6 pm when we arrived at Litang. In order to catch a little time, we didn't rest in Litang, but chose to burn the midnight oil and go directly to Batang. It began to rain after coming out of Litang, and it never stopped all the way. This section of the road is well repaired, but there are many mountain roads and bends, because the view is not good because of the rain. Fortunately, just out of Litang County, I met an old driver with Guangdong B license to lead the way. It can be said that he followed the old driver's ass all the way.

At first, the driver was steady, but in the second half, he felt a little anxious and drove a little sideways. As long as someone overtakes, he will stop to prevent the other side from overtaking. At one time, when he was separated from another car, a big car just came. Fortunately, the other car slowed down quickly and returned to its own lane. Since then, we haven't followed it so closely. It will be easier to follow the car, but you must pay attention to keeping the distance between cars and reserve time for yourself to react in an emergency. Thank you, though. Without this old driver, we probably wouldn't have reached Batang. -

Although we finally arrived safely, there was still a little adventure on the road. It is unsafe to suggest that we burn the midnight oil when there are many cars on unfamiliar roads and the weather is bad.

On September 9th, we set out from Batang and arrived at Jinsha River, the border river between Sichuan and Tibet. Jinsha River Bridge straddles the river, and two road signs "Chuanjie" and "Zangjie" are erected on the bridge. Many friends from go on road trip who ride donkey friends will stop here to take photos as a souvenir.

I'm so excited to finally reach the border of Tibet. But then, the worst section of Sichuan-Tibet section of 3 18 and Haitonggou section of Mangkang County of 3 18 National Highway started. Due to rainfall, landslides, falling rocks, landslides and other reasons, the pavement is damaged and the foundation collapses very seriously. Helmet-wearing workers are repairing roads along the way, and many times they are unilaterally released. This section of the road is more than 40 kilometers long, and it takes a lot of time to move. And because the road was muddy, Dabai turned into rhubarb after walking over, and all four wheels were put on thick mud clothes. Dabai's car has never been so dirty. . .

Although this section of the road is not easy to walk, ordinary vehicles should be able to pass. However, because there will be a rhubarb puddle on the road from time to time, the chassis is estimated to hit it.

Bad roads lead to perfect scenery, as the ancients said, climb high and look far, and don't bully me.

One more thing to say, because we come from low altitude, in high altitude areas, we buy mineral water to drink and use mineral water to boil water. As we all know, the boiling point of water in the plateau will become lower, not reaching 100 degrees, and may boil to about 90 degrees. The higher the altitude, the lower the boiling point. In order to prevent acclimatization and worry that the boiling point is not enough to kill bacteria and parasites in tap water, we drink mineral water ourselves. It is recommended that non-plateau locals travel to the plateau to drink mineral water, and feel at ease ~
