The climate of Pakistan
Pakistan has a large area of desert distribution in China, so the tropical desert climate zone is also very wide, but it is still a tropical monsoon climate on the whole. Most of Pakistan is in the subtropical zone. Generally speaking, Pakistan has a hot and dry climate, with an average annual rainfall of less than 250 mm, and the rainfall in 1/4 area is below 120 mm.
The hottest season in Pakistan is June and July, and the noon temperature in most areas exceeds 40℃, while in parts of Sindh and Baluchistan provinces, the noon temperature may be as high as 50℃ or above. The northern mountainous areas above 2 km above sea level are relatively cool, with large temperature difference. The average temperature difference between day and night is about 65438 04℃. The lowest temperature season is 65438+February to February.
The temperature in the coastal areas of Pakistan is high and the temperature difference is small. Northwest mountainous areas and Baluchistan Plateau have changeable climate and large temperature difference. Some mountainous areas in the north even have snow all the year round. Baluchistan is mountainous and desert, with a hot and dry climate. Traditionally, the climate in Pakistan is divided into four seasons: March-April is spring, and the climate in these two months is lukewarm, mild, but dry; May-August is summer, and June has the highest temperature, sometimes as high as 45℃. It is rainy in July and August, so it is usually called rainy season. September-10 is autumn; 11-February is winter, and the temperature difference between day and night in winter is large. The temperature can reach 25℃ during the day, and sometimes it will drop to freezing point at night.
