How did Yu Chunshun die?

Yu Chunshun was killed for two reasons.

The first time was in June, Yu Chunshun was hiking in Lop Nur, and the weather temperature was as high as 50 degrees. When hiking in this temperature, people are easily dehydrated, and he has never drunk water before, so he was very thirsty on the way across, and finally he was seriously dehydrated and could not move on.

The second is that Yu Chunshun didn't carry a positioning device, so he went in the wrong direction and took another direction. There is no supply point in this direction, so there is no water he urgently needs. If he walks in the right direction and is only 3 kilometers away from this intersection, there will be a supply point with plenty of water and food.

But Yu Chunshun went the wrong way and didn't drink water since 1 1 morning. If ordinary people go hiking without drinking water, they can live for at least 3 days, but here is Lop Nur with high temperature, and they can't last 1 day without drinking water.

Yu Chunshun (195112-1996 June 13), male, Shanghainese, undergraduate, started his personal travel and exploration in China on July 1988. The journey is over 40,000 kilometers. He published more than 400,000 words of travel notes, took more than 8,000 photos along the way, and made 150 speeches entitled "Motherland for Parents" for people along the way.

In particular, he completed the feat of crossing Sichuan-Tibet, Qinghai-Tibet, Xinjiang-Tibet, Yunnan-Tibet and China-Nepal Highway on foot for the first time to conquer the "roof of the world" and died unfortunately in the west of Lop Nur on June 1996.

Yu Chunshun solemnly ended his uneven life in Lop Nur. There is no peace behind me. The grave was stolen. One of his female friends wrote a book saying that he was a hero who was tired of fame and was not sober enough.

The main purpose of Yu Chunshun's trip to Xinjiang is to carry out the project of trekking through Lop Nur in his exploration plan of trekking all over China. Korla people greeted him with their usual enthusiasm, and Loulan Hotel gave him free accommodation.

With our cooperation, Yu Chunshun's preparations for crossing Lop Nur were carried out nervously and orderly. We helped him make two plans to cross Lop Nur and Milan to Dunhuang, and determined the route.

At the same time, according to the climate characteristics of Lop Nur, he was strongly discouraged from changing the season to make the crossing more successful. We suggest that the crossing of Lop Nur should be in September, 10, just to avoid high temperature and windy weather.

Yu Chunshun replied, "In September and October, I will go to Mohammad County in southern Xinjiang to train camels, and then I will cross the Taklimakan Desert alone (from west to east).

When the film crew was still in Urumqi, it was convenient for Chunshun to leave Korla on the afternoon of May 28th 1996 and walk to the 32nd Regiment of the Second Agricultural Division of the Corps 172km away. When talking about the purpose of this trip, Yu Chunshun said: "I have been busy sorting out diaries and writing articles for the past few months, and I have little activity, let alone taking a walk. Walking 100 km can not only warm up before crossing Lop Nur, but also help me adapt to the climate and environment around Tarim and prepare for crossing Taklimakan Desert in 10.

He finally said confidently: "I can say that this is a' small test' and the winning rate is 100%!"

1996 On the afternoon of May 29th 17, a sudden sandstorm hit the south of Korla, and we were very worried about Yu Chunshun, because the place where the sandstorm passed was just the neighboring group such as the 32nd regiment and Yuli county.

On the morning of June 2nd, 1996, the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture held a press conference in the conference room on the fifth floor of Loulan Hotel. Yu Chunshun made an important speech at the meeting, expressing his determination to cross Lop Nur. Autonomous Prefecture Life Insurance Company provided free life insurance worth 6,543,800 yuan for Yu Chunshun and the film crew, escort and two drivers of Shanghai TV Station.
