Ceramic tiles have high water absorption, but the disadvantage is that they are easy to penetrate into liquids. Some even absorb the water in the cement mortar from behind when sticking bricks, which will enter the glaze and produce traces. However, under the influence of temperature, if it is not handled properly, it is easy to cause cracks between the glaze and the green body of ceramic tiles. The use function of wall tiles and floor tiles is different, and the required water absorption is also different. The living room should choose tiles with low water absorption rate, because frequent activities may bring frequent pollution, and loose brick holes can easily absorb moisture and dirt, thus bringing embarrassing and difficult-to-clean traces. Wall tiles can choose tiles with high water absorption, while floors, especially bathrooms, should choose tiles with low water absorption. Low water absorption can also ensure that tiles will not be deformed due to excessive expansion.
