Shijiazhuang, referred to as "Stone" for short, formerly known as Shimen, is one of the important central cities in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region of China approved by the State Council. Shijiazhuang belongs to Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei Province, and is a kind of big city. As of 202 1, the city has 8 districts,1/county, and 3 county-level cities, with a total area of 14530 square kilometers, permanent population of 1 1 204700, and urban population of 796.52.
Shijiazhuang was established as "Shimen City" in the 14th year of the Republic of China (1925) and renamed as Shijiazhuang City in the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947). From 65438 to 0968, the capital of Hebei moved to Shijiazhuang. The Beijing-Guangzhou, Shijiazhuang-Taiyuan, Shide and Huang Shuo railway lines meet here, which is one of the main hubs of China's railway transportation and is known as the "north-south artery and the throat of Yanjin".
