Regarding the route, what you said about "Hangzhou West Bus Station-Changhua Bus Station-Lin 'an Daming Mountain Scenic Area" is basically correct. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to Changhua by bus No.598 at Hangzhou West Railway Station (note: there are two types of bus No.598, which reach their destinations respectively: Lin 'an, Yuqian and Changhua; ask the driver before getting on the bus). There are only two through trains from Changhua to Daming Mountain every day, 8: 10 in the morning and 14: 10 in the afternoon, but you can change trains if you miss it. Take bus No.2 from Changhua to Baiguo or Shunxi, first go to the intersection of Daming Mountain of Hengxi Bridge (just ask the driver), and then you can take the local bus at that intersection. Generally, there are many vans in the local area, and the price is within 50 yuan.
