Can humans change the weather?

Humans can change the weather, and climate is closely related to human activities. There are many reasons for climate change, which are generally divided into natural reasons and man-made reasons.

Man-made reasons refer to the influence of human activities on climate change, such as deforestation, blind reclamation, overgrazing, unreasonable land use, and the increase of trace gases such as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere caused by industrialization. Since the world industrial revolution nearly 200 years ago, especially since this century, due to the rapid increase of world population, the rapid development of advanced science and technology, and the expansion of economic construction and production scale, the impact of human activities on climate change can now be equivalent to or even exceed natural factors.

Human activities affect climate change in the following three ways:

One is to artificially change the nature of the underlying surface, such as destroying the original vegetation to change the reflectivity and roughness;

The second is to artificially change some atmospheric components, such as the increase of carbon dioxide concentration;

The third is the release of man-made heat. All kinds of energy consumed by human beings warm the atmosphere like a stove. At present, it is obvious that human activities change the nature of underlying surface and affect climate change.
