Visit Tiantai Waterfall and Parliament Temple.
After breakfast, the first scenic spot we went to was Tiantai Waterfall. In many places in Tiantai County, looking in the direction of Tiantai Mountain, you can see the silver waterfall hanging on the cliff.
Seen from a distance, it seems very small. Like curtains hanging on the wall. But the car went in and found out that it was called Tiantai Waterfall, worthy of the name.
I should have seen such a big waterfall for the first time in my life. The last time I heard it was probably the poem "Looking at Lushan Waterfall" written by Li Bai in the primary school textbook: the incense burner in Rizhao gave birth to purple smoke. Looking at the waterfall hanging in Qianchuan from a distance, flying straight down a few thousands of feet, it is suspected that the Milky Way has fallen for nine days.
The scene is so atmospheric and the waterfall is so towering. Even if you are not at the scene, you can feel the majestic spirit.
Looking up at the foot of Tiantai Mountain Waterfall, I can't help but admire that this waterfall is really high!
It is said that this waterfall has been working for 60 years. In recent years, due to the construction of the reservoir, this waterfall has been redeveloped as a landmark attraction on the rooftop.
This means that there is still a reservoir at that position on the top of the mountain. So how did the water from the reservoir come up?
This uses the method of pumping water, because there is also a reservoir at the foot of the mountain, which pumps the water from the bottom of the mountain to the top of the mountain at night and uses it to generate electricity during the day.
This can be regarded as a small ecological cycle.
When we walked up the steps beside the waterfall. We feel the waterfall from different angles. When passing by water curtain cave, I remembered the scene of the Monkey King in The Journey to the West playing with monkeys and grandchildren in water curtain cave.
This waterfall is both natural and man-made, which can be said to be a combination of humanity and nature. /kloc-Li Bai, a poet in the Tang Dynasty more than 0/000 years ago, left poems not only in Lushan Mountain, Jiangxi Province, but also here.
Tiantai is the end of the road of Tang poetry in eastern Zhejiang, from which many famous poets in the Tang Dynasty left Mo Bao. This also makes Tiantai have a profound poetic culture besides Taoism and Buddhism.
You can feel the prosperity here in ancient times. It must be full of poetry to think of the ancients here and look at the waterfalls and mountains in the distance.
All the way up the stairs, many breathless in the middle, some people give up halfway. More people bend over at the top of the mountain, and those who don't reach the top are not real men.
But the road to the top of the mountain is really long and steep. The road was built on a cliff. Thanks to those craftsmen, how much effort they spent to build this road to the top of the mountain!
We encountered several rains on the road, and the weather on the mountain was really unpredictable. One minute it's sunny, and the next it's cloudy and rainy.
Fortunately, we arrived at the top of the mountain at 1 1, the same time as the tour guide arranged. We got off the bus and took the bus.
After lunch, we came to the long-awaited Xiaoguo Temple. This is a royal temple, built in the Sui Dynasty. The capital of the Sui Dynasty is in the north. Why did Zhejiang build a royal temple at that time?
It is reasonable to say that it was because Buddhists at that time were Tiantai people.
Or the rooftop itself was a traffic fortress at that time, which might be very famous at that time. Anyway, this temple does have its place. It is the only two temples in China that were restored during the Cultural Revolution and built by Premier Zhou Enlai himself.
The temple has the shadow of cultural exchange between China, Japan and South Korea, and it is also the place where Taoist culture and Buddhist culture merge.
You can see Japanese, Koreans, Buddhists and Taoists.
Enough to show the inclusiveness of roof culture.
