How to prevent extreme weather
Extreme weather means that the state of weather (climate) seriously deviates from its average state, which is statistically unlikely to happen. Generally speaking, extreme weather and climate events refer to small probability events that occur once every 50 years or once every 100 years. In the past 50 years, extreme weather events, especially extreme events such as heavy rainfall and high temperature heat waves, have shown an increasing trend, and it is expected that such extreme events will appear more frequently in the future.
At present, the frequent occurrence of extreme weather is largely due to global warming. Therefore, reducing and preventing extreme weather, that is, curbing the global warming trend, is to advocate low-carbon movement and slow down the warming trend. These require the joint efforts of all of us. For us personally, on the one hand, we should persist in supporting low energy consumption and emission reduction in all aspects of life and not waste the earth's resources. On the other hand, we should vigorously promote the low-carbon movement and call on more people to do what they can for the ecological balance of the earth.
