The noctilucent stone is about one mile away from Chenjiawu, Lengshui River, Nanzhang County, Hubei Province. There is a huge stone, about 50 meters high and about one hundred and fifty meters in circumference. People call it "Tianzhu". When there is lightning, the stone peak produces charge and emits light, so people call it "Tianzhu lamp". The stone tablet is surrounded by trees and the scenery is pleasant.

According to historical records, during Chenghua period of Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1465- 1487), there was a dead pine beside a pavilion on a hill in Yongkang County, Jinhua. Because of its age, it was blown down by the strong wind and fell into the pool water. Strangely, the dead pine tree turned to stone. People were surprised and incredible, so someone picked up some pine branches that didn't fall into the water and threw them into the water. As a result, these branches and barks became fossils, much harder than before.
