Geographical location The county is located in the eastern part of the motherland and the northwest border of Anhui Province. The geographical coordinates are11452-11531,and the latitude is 3235-3308. It borders Huaibin and Xincai County in Henan Province in the south, jieshou city and shenqiu county in Henan Province in the north, Pingyu and Xiangcheng County in Henan Province in the west, and Fuyang City and Funan County in the east. It is 68 kilometers long from north to south and 62 kilometers wide from east to west. The total area of the county is 18 18 square kilometers, accounting for 1.4% of the total area of Anhui Province, and the cultivated land is17.37 million mu. The county has dense rivers and convenient transportation. There is a red river in the south and a spring river in the north, among which natural rivers such as Guhe River, Herun River, Xianhe River and Lu 'an River flow eastward, while artificial rivers such as Ailin River and Jienan River run through the north and south. Agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery are very developed, and wild plant resources are quite rich. Land Resources The total land area of the county is 18 18 square kilometers, accounting for 1.4% of the total area of Anhui Province, and the cultivated land is1740,000 mu. The territory of the county is flat and open, belonging to Huaibei Plain and Huaihe River Basin, with high northwest and low southeast, with an altitude of 40 meters to 38 meters. Linquan is rich in agricultural resources and is a large commodity grain production base in China. Ten high-quality agricultural breeding bases with different characteristics, such as ginger, scallion, melons and fruits, edible fungi, Chinese herbal medicines, three kinds of flour, sesame, pigs, sheep and cattle, have been built in the county, and four industrial chains, namely dehydrated vegetables, meat freezing, three kinds of flour processing and grain and oil processing, have been initially formed. Linquan is the first sheep raising county in Anhui Province and the first cattle raising county in Fuyang City. Niuzhuang Township was approved by state administration of traditional chinese medicine as the "Anhui Traditional Chinese Medicine Production Base". Its andrographis paniculata output accounts for one-third of the country, and its internal fat content is as high as 5. 15%, ranking first among similar products in China. Labor resources The county's surplus labor force reaches more than 600,000 people, and 400,000 people are exported to all parts of the country every year. Timber forests mainly include paulownia, Toona sinensis, Melia azedarach, Sophora japonica, poplar, willow, pine and cypress, Sang Yu and Catalpa bungeana. Peach, plum, apricot, pear, pomegranate, apple, grape, Chinese toon, etc. The injected trees are sorted.
