How to treat lice on sheep?

The lice on sheep can be removed by the following methods:

2. Powder coating: powder such as 3% malathion, 2% chlorpyrifos and 5% carbaryl can be applied to the body surface. The dosage of each sheep is 30 grams, and it is treated every 7~ 10 days in the active season of lice.

3. Spraying of liquid medicine: The animal body can be sprayed with emulsion such as 1% malathion, 0.2% zinc thion, 0.2% cartap, 0.25% fenthion and 0.2% chlorpyrifos. 200 ml for each sheep, once every three weeks.

4. Medicinal bath: A medicinal bath will be built in the sheep farm. In addition, avermectin can also be injected subcutaneously at a dose of 0.2 mg per kg of body weight.

Second, eliminate lice in the sheepfold.

Some lice live in gaps such as the ground of pens and feeding troughs. After spraying or smearing the above drugs, it can be blocked with cement, lime or yellow mud.

Third, eliminate lice on natural grazing grassland.

According to the specific situation of grazing grassland, the adults of grassland can die when the interval is 1~2 years. The above pesticides can also be used for ultra-low spraying.
