Nostalgia of Old Town, One of Qingdao Strolls
As a nostalgic person, I always miss the bustling old city that passed away, and I will never forget the ups and downs of roads and the exotic old houses around the corner!
Please follow me and have a nostalgic trip in the typhoon and rainstorm!
?
Qingdao Railway Station, the terminal of Ji Jiao Railway, was built at 1899. It consists of a bell tower and a waiting hall, with the architectural style of the German Renaissance. Among the cities I have been to, only Suzhou Railway Station can match it. Fortunately, it can still exist in the tide of rapid urban transformation!
Many years ago, when you left Qingdao Railway Station, you could see a broad slope leading to the trestle, and you could walk to the trestle along the salty sea breeze. Looking up now, a township-style tall building stands in front of us. There is also the glittering Qingfeng steamed bun shop with spicy eyes (I really can't bear to take it to heart). Fortunately, when I looked back, I saw an eye-washing building.
Zhongshan Road 1, formerly known as Qingdao International Club. Built in 19 10. Once here, the clothes were fragrant and the temples were shaded, bustling, celebrities gathered, the most beautiful people and the most mellow wine. Unfortunately, looking back a hundred years ago, the quiet old building is now pouring out its past glory for us with its connotation.
It seems that every city has Zhongshan Road. Zhongshan Road in Qingdao used to be an absolute commercial center, but now it has become a tourist shop street. Even so, its charm still exists, and its charm is undiminished.
JIAOZHOU Hotel was built in 1897, with the German Renaissance style. After vicissitudes and changes, it is now a market.
If you walk casually from Zhongshan Road, you can almost always turn to St. Mill's Cathedral (Catholic Church). Today, the typhoon and rain finally didn't see the couple who took the wedding dress. One of my favorite buildings! )
St. Mir's Church was built in 1932, with Gothic and Romanesque architectural styles, and it is the only dedicated church in China.
The Anna Villa next door was built by 190 1. It is a typical Balikun-style building. A German businessman named it "Anna Villa" in memory of his beloved daughter, and now it is changed to "Qingdao Study".
In the old city of Qingdao, there is no shortage of surprises, and there are buildings around seafood shops everywhere.
The German Navy Club, founded in 1899, is one of the earliest German buildings in Qingdao, and it is a German neo-Renaissance style. (Once again, the Parkson high-rise building behind Tucao really destroyed the style of the old city. There are many old buildings almost everywhere behind the backboard. )
Strolling through the old city, you can walk with confidence, take things as they are, and the surprise is just around the corner.
Boluo Youzi Road is a unique and rich flavor road design in Qingdao. The pavement paved with kerbstone winds along the old city of Qingdao, and the patchwork stones are polished. Now the remaining Boluo Youzi Road is the eternal memory of Qingdao!
Youth brigades near the Catholic church like this nostalgic color!
Coming down from the Catholic Church, along Zhejiang Road and Hubei Road, you will pass by the small quiet Laoshe Park. There were many literati living in Qingdao at that time, including Kang Youwei, Lao She and Shen Congwen. Mr. Lao She was employed by Shandong University (yes, Shandong University was in Qingdao at that time) and wrote Camel Xiangzi in Qingdao.
Turn from Laoshe Park, pass by an obscure small courtyard, and wait for observation. It turned out to be the original site of Luther apartment, which was built at 1905. The huge red top of the slope is the most distinctive.
Not far from Luther's apartment, there is a magnificent building. Yes, it is magnificent. This is the highest authority of Germany in Qingdao-Qingdao Jiaoao Governor's Office. Qingdao was originally named Jiaoao, and the Governor's Office in Jiaoao was the place where the Governor worked after the German occupation of Qingdao. Built in 1906, all granite. Before 1990s, it was the office of the municipal government, and now it is the office address of Qingdao Municipal People's Congress and CPPCC.
The police car parked in Jiaoao High Court opposite the governor's office seems to be the procuratorate's office now.
In the storm, I found a shelter and looked up at the opposite side. I could hardly hold my mobile phone in the typhoon. Qingdao Post and Telecommunications Museum is the former site of the German Imperial Post Office in Jiaoao. Founded in 190 1, it is the earliest existing post and telecommunications business building in Qingdao.
It's raining harder and harder, and it's almost impossible to walk under the typhoon. Pushing open the door of a small courtyard and stepping on the stairs, there is a bookstore, coffee and a small art gallery. Holding a cup of hot cocoa, I was leafing through the Old Record of West Town (because I almost got lost in West Town the night before). There is a girl working quietly next to her, accompanied by the rain outside the window, the jingle of the wind knocking at the door, the music in her ear and the bitter taste of coffee lingering in her nose. I don't know when the girl put down her work and talked to me. It turns out that she is a food photographer. From the seafood in Qingdao to her just-filmed trip to southern Anhui, from the old duck and winter bamboo shoots with stinky mandarin fish to the fresh bacon in Hangzhou, lively topics attracted coffee girls and proprietress. Really, the world is a family. It didn't disperse until everyone swallowed their saliva.
The day after the typhoon, I returned to the place where I stopped yesterday-Guangxi Road. This is a real old German street in Qingdao, which was called Prince Henry Street during the German occupation. The buildings on both sides are German-style buildings, but it's a pity that Shandong Road and Mining Company was not photographed. When I asked for directions, a Qingdao elder brother waved his hand and said, We are all German buildings here, as if a landlord were talking about Man Cang's surplus grain.
Yishui Road from the Governor's Mansion to the Christian Church is only 300 meters long. Every building in the street has a story and history. The street is quiet and there are few pedestrians. Some doors are locked deep, and some doors are left unlocked, so you can gently push them open to take pictures. What impressed me the most was the British Consulate General, the door was half open and I wanted to walk in. The small courtyard is empty, and the mottled buildings silently pour out the vicissitudes and changes of history.
At the end of Consulate General Street is the Christian Church! Christian church was built in 1908, which is a typical German castle building. A hundred years later, the mechanical clock on the bell tower can still tell the time accurately. Although the weather is gloomy, it can't stop brides from everywhere. This is the place I want to stay most!
When I left the Christian church, I was on my way to Signal Mountain, overlooking the old city of Qingdao. Unfortunately, the sky is gloomy, and we can't get the effect of red tiles, green trees, blue sea and blue sky.
Coming down from Signal Mountain, I followed the mighty sightseeing bus to the former site of the Governor's Mansion (the Prefect Building), which is now called Yingbin Hotel.
The governor's residence was built in 1903, which was the governor's residence of Jiao 'ao during the German occupation. It is said that the governor at that time was impeached by the German parliament because his extravagant budget exceeded the standard. This is what my tour guide heard without integrity, hehe!
Originally, I went to Lao She's former residence, but it turned out to be a coffee street, and the small desert island bookstore was crowded with people. Mr. Lao She read the introduction and began to write Camel Xiangzi after teaching at Shanda University. Sometimes he goes to a desert island bookstore to buy manuscript paper, and he often meets Huang Zongjiang. Xiao Hong's Field of Life and Death and Xiao Jun's Village in August were also written in Qingdao and sent to Shanghai for publication by Lu Xun from a desert island bookstore. By the way, I have never understood why the thoughts and behaviors of women Wen Qing in the May 4th period were unprecedented open and radical, such as Xiao Hong and Ding Ling! For the latter, Xiao Jun is love rat in my evaluation system!
University Road, named after a nearby university. The earliest private Qingdao University was later established as the National Shandong University. After Shandong University moved back to Jinan, Qingdao Ocean University was established on the original site of Shandong University.
Now University Road is a small and fresh street, with various cafes and online celebrity shops. Maybe I'm too old to understand young people taking pictures of the red wall.
That? end
