Where did Typhoon Tian Ge land?
It is reported that the Central Meteorological Observatory issued the first typhoon red warning this year at 6 am on August 23rd, and the China Meteorological Bureau also upgraded the emergency response of major meteorological disasters (typhoons) to Grade II. According to the current forecast, "Tian Ge" will become the strongest typhoon landing in China this year, and it will weaken after landing.
Affected by Tian Ge, there will be strong winds of 7-9 in the northern South China Sea, Taiwan Province Strait, Qiongzhou Strait, Beibu Gulf, Guangdong coast, southern Fujian coast, eastern and northern Hainan coast, Guangxi coast, southern Guangdong and eastern Guangxi, and there will be strong winds of113 near the Pearl River Estuary.
Experts reminded that while typhoons bring coolness, people along the coast of South China should also pay attention to preventing secondary disasters that may be caused by strong storms. The disaster caused by strong typhoon and rainstorm should not be underestimated. Long-term heavy rainfall can easily lead to heavy floods, and secondary disasters such as flash floods, mudslides and landslides may occur in some areas.
