Just as he got up looking for light, he suddenly saw a huge candle shining on the mountain. He took a book and read it under the candle. It was not until dawn that he discovered that the candle was a stone pillar. Yan Anlan later won the list and became an official of Beijing Salt Administration, so later generations called this stone "Candle Stone".

Yan Anlan's figure has disappeared, and the kind face of Taoist Cheng Mingda has solidified into a stone carving made by later generations. However, Yan Anlan's body is clearly visible; Cheng Mingda's soul seems to be still wandering in the mountains. This pair of 36-word couplets was written by Yan Anlan himself. The couplets are extraordinary and full of gas.
