Where is the location of Niutou Mountain in luliang county?

Niutou Mountain is located in Xiaobaihu Town, northwest of luliang county, 30 kilometers away from the county seat, and was called Qimao Mountain and Tianzhu Mountain in ancient times. Niutou Mountain, one of the "Three Mountains, Four Waters and Eight Scenes" listed in Zixi Biography, is this mountain. Fu Shuo, a Kunming scholar who was the minister of the Ministry of War in the Ming Dynasty, has listed Niushou Mountain as one of the five famous mountains in China in Jizu Mountain and Emei, Niutou, Tianmu and Tiantai (a new edition of Yunnan Tongzhi religious examination), which enjoys a good reputation both inside and outside the province.

Niutou Mountain is an ancient land in geography, with the highest elevation of 2493 meters. There are "Eight Scenes of Niu Shan" in the old annals: towering skyscrapers, rough waves on the mountains, the rising sun of mountain peppers, the majestic spiritual rise, the autumn pool of sail peaks, the smoke clouds of ancient courtyards, the pine rhyme in the forest and the morning bell of chicken calls.

There used to be Zhenqing Palace, an ancient temple on the waist of Niutou Mountain, also known as Tianzhu Temple, commonly known as Niutou Mountain Temple, which is a holy place of Taoism in Yunnan and is on an equal footing with Zhenqing Palace in Wudang Mountain. This temple was built during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty. It is generous and simple, and has been repaired in later dynasties. In the early years of the Republic of China, Taoist Zheng presided over the reconstruction, and the scale system of the whole temple conformed to Taoist regulations, which was the same as Zhenwu Temple outside the south gate of the county. One of the eight scenic spots in Lvliang, "Clear Summer in Niu Shan", is here.

There are also "historic sites" and "Niu Shan Ancient Village" in the middle of Niutou Mountain, and there are also "hundreds of acres around, with a round base site, which was built by Mokao". On-the-spot investigation, the local people called it Gucheng Village, which is east-west, with a circular center and surrounding ruins, covering an area of more than 20 mu. There is a big stone weighing several tons in the center, which is called "Dianjiangtai". The village site is backed by mountains, with cliffs in front, relatively open and gentle slopes on the back and left and right sides, covering hundreds of acres in Fiona Fang. When this village was built is still a mystery, which remains to be verified.

Today, the ancient village of Niu Shan is not only an archaeological object for historians, but also a good place for tourists to explore wonders.
