Is Lululong Lake in Xiaguan, Nanjing protecting the city?

Although he just walked around the lake and took some photos, he always thought it was part of the original moat in Nanjing. Well, although up to now, I haven't made it clear whether this paragraph is more accurate, whether it is "Lulong Lake" or "Lulong River". There are different opinions on the internet. This section of "Lulu Longhu" is located in the west of the square where the statue of Liu Bocheng is located, and it surrounds a part of the Lion Mountain Scenic Area. On one side of the water is the ancient city wall and on the other side is Jianning Road. Xiaguan District (cancelled) is the central city of Nanjing, an important shipping center in the east of China, an important material distribution center in the east of China, the most important window along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu, and a key area for development along the Yangtze River. Nanjing Riverside Development Core Area is known as "North Gate of Jinling". Xiaguan District was founded in the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), and originated from the 7th district of the Republic of China. Because the tax collection agency-Longjiang Customs (Xiaguan) was located in China in the early Ming Dynasty, it was named Xiaguan District. Xiaguan River is rich in tourism resources and rich in natural and cultural landscapes. There are many buildings of the Republic of China, such as Yuejiang Tower, Tianfei Palace, Jinghai Temple, Jiangnan Naval Academy, Ming City Wall, and Victory Memorial Hall for Crossing the River. Mountains, waters, cities and forests complement each other, and Ming culture, Republic of China culture, Mazu culture, Yangtze River culture and revolutionary culture are intertwined. It is the most potential sightseeing, leisure and entertainment place in Nanjing.
