The whole geographical coordinates are 1 15 18' east to 1 16 56' north to 23 23' north to 24 56' north. The largest basin, Ning Basin, covers an area of about 350 square kilometers. Meizhou is located at the southern foot of Wuling Mountain, accounting for about 85% of the city, which is lower than the hills with an altitude of 500 meters. The land is fertile and rich in potassium.

The average annual precipitation in China is 25.03 billion cubic meters, about 65.438+28.7 billion cubic meters, and the average annual runoff is 2.597 billion cubic meters. The theoretical power generation of water resources is 775,000 kilowatts, and there are springs underground (especially in Fengshun County). When the water temperature is high, the water quantity is large, and it is regarded as rich mineral resources.

Affected by subtropical monsoon, high temperature precipitation in winter and summer, the rainfall is concentrated from April to September, and the annual average temperature is about 265,438 0℃. Because of the concern of tourism in Meizhou, in order to avoid natural disasters such as flash floods and landslides that may be caused by typhoons and tropical storms in rainy season, we should pay more attention to the weather changes and make more preparations before going out.
