Why do Buddhists say that wine and meat are enterotoxic?
The world only knows that "the wine and meat pass through the intestines, and the Buddha pays attention to it", but I don't know that there is a saying "If the world learns from me, it will be like a demon"!
In the Buddha's teaching method, Tibetan Buddhism is a carnivorous sect, which is an expedient measure under special circumstances. Tibet's geographical environment is on the plateau, with rich geological sand and gravel, dry weather and long cold time. Because of the inconvenient transportation, it was really difficult to transport foreign food, so the Buddha was merciful and allowed him to eat meat. However, the meat eaten by monks is not the real meat of the Buddha. In the Shurangama Sutra, the Buddha told Ananda, "Ah! I am endowed with the power of compassion, and because of compassion, I take my pseudonym as meat, and you get the taste. But after the extinction, the Buddha was a carnivorous creature of the famous prince. You should know that you are a carnivore, and you will be happy in Luo Cha and eventually sink into the sea of life and death, not a disciple of Buddha. What is the cloud leading to the Three Realms? "
Due to the geographical environment, the Buddha supported the practitioners by turning compassion and divine power into flesh. This meat has no life, so there is no cause for killing. However, times have changed. Nowadays, the traffic is very convenient, and vegetables and vegetarianism can be bought everywhere. Whether eating meat is reasonable and legal should be worth pondering.
Today's world is the end of Buddhism. Many people who have been trained in the magic industry in their previous lives have been reincarnated into the world, and various sects have been established to confuse all beings, and they call themselves the best of the sects. Even eating meat can become a Buddha. This confusing statement is widely circulated, so please quote Buddhist scriptures carefully. People who practice and learn Buddhism should be based on Buddhism, and they should make progress when they are reasonable. Don't listen to unreasonable words. Practice is reasonable, but learning Buddhism is beneficial and harmless. It is a mistake to take daily meat eating as the starting point of compassion. I don't know the origin of compassion eating meat and the essence of Mahayana Buddhism. Nonsense and misinterpretation will destroy the wisdom of all beings. Therefore, we advise you to be cautious and think carefully.
The so-called compassion for eating meat is not just a casual remark. You must bear the consequences of killing karma. A great Buddhist said, "wine and meat cross the intestines, and the Buddha pays attention." There is a reason for this sentence. Some practitioners are forced to eat wine and meat in order to save their lives in times of crisis. Indeed, I will go to hell and get a reward for eating meat. This is the self-denial spirit of Mahayana Bodhisattva, and there is no choice. Without great compassion, great practice is not easy to achieve. It's hard for ordinary people to bear. Ordinary people have deep karma and are easy to lose their nature. If you have the spirit of bodhisattva, you are not afraid to suffer in hell, and you have no choice but to give up and save others. In the Ming Dynasty, there was a story about a man of practice who ate meat and drank wine to save his life.
In the late Ming Dynasty, Zhang rioted, mountain thieves ran rampant, killing and looting everywhere, and the people were displaced and fled everywhere. In Emei Mountain, Sichuan, bandits looted and a group of people fled into a temple in the mountains in panic. The abbot of the temple was very kind and took in refugees. Who knows that mountain thieves chased the temple, robbed the money and killed people. The abbot knows mountain thieves and asks not to hurt the people. Whatever the conditions, the abbot promised as long as it could be done, but begged to let these people go. The mountain thief has always owed the abbot, so he was embarrassed to refuse, so he came up with a ghost idea to let the abbot retreat. So the thief took out some wine and meat and said to the abbot, "Monk, my condition is very simple. As long as you eat the spilled meat, I will let these people go, and I will never say anything. " Everyone is in an uproar! This plan is absolutely unique! When a yogi drinks and sprinkles meat and breaks fast, he will surely break into animal paths and hungry ghosts and suffer endlessly. I saw the abbot pick up the glass and said calmly, "I use wine instead of tea, and everyone drinks tea." Say that finish and drink it off. Then he picked up a piece of meat and said, "I use this piece of meat as a dish." Please. "Say that finish and began to eat. Don't change your face. The mountain thief was surprised, but he had to let everyone go first.
The abbot is in danger, so he has no choice but to sacrifice the right path, fast and save people, and not be afraid of falling into evil ways and suffering. Buddha said, "If I don't go to hell, who will?" The abbot's true compassion for eating meat is the bodhisattva spirit of Mahayana Buddhism.
