Planting and cultivation of persimmon trees

Persimmon is a deep-rooted tree species, but also a positive tree species. It likes warm weather, plenty of sunshine and deep, fertile, moist and well-drained soil. Suitable for neutral soil, cold-resistant, but more resistant to barren, drought, saline-alkali soil. Most persimmon varieties began to bear fruit in 3-4 years after grafting, and reached the full fruit stage in 10- 12 years, while the seedlings began to bear fruit in 5-7 years, and the fruiting period exceeded 100 years.

Choosing the right time for planting persimmon trees is generally in the best and warm spring, which is conducive to the germination and rooting of seedlings. After the persimmon trees grow up, they should be planted in autumn to the following spring.

Persimmon has a well-developed root system and does not require much soil. They can be planted anywhere, and the yield is relatively considerable. Planting it can make full use of soil, effectively improve the ground coverage, improve the local climate, and also play an important role in improving people's living environment. Persimmon likes humidity, has strong cold resistance and can grow in dry air and wet soil. But there is no water.

When planting persimmon trees, first dig a small pit in the middle of the soil with a shovel, sprinkle a layer of decomposed manure inside, and then cover it with a layer of soil to avoid burning seedlings, then put persimmon seedlings in, spread the roots flat, and finally fill the soil to suppress them.

Persimmon is a warm-loving plant. After planting, the temperature should be controlled between 15-30 degrees Celsius. If the light is strong and the temperature is high during the day, it should be shaded in time, covered with black film to prevent the seedlings from being damaged, and watered every 2-3 days.

Persimmon tree absorbs fertilizer, because its roots grow deeper, and the concentration of fertilization should not be too high, so it can be fertilized in small amounts for many times. Can be combined with foliar spraying fertilizer, which is beneficial to the nutritional needs of persimmon trees. When topdressing, you can choose topdressing before flowering. Irrigation, persimmon trees are wet, so water them in time when the soil becomes very dry. When persimmon bears fruit, it can be watered several times to promote the growth of branches and leaves.
