Analysis of precipitation characteristics and its influencing factors in Guangdong Province
Guangdong is divided into dry season and rainy season throughout the year, and the rainy season is divided into two flood seasons (the first flood season and the second flood season). The dry season in Guangdong is from June 5438+00 to March and April of the following year, and the precipitation is relatively small, because at this time, the mainland of China is deeply affected by the Mongolian high and controlled by the denatured Siberian air mass, and the air is relatively dry. April-September is the rainy season in Guangzhou, which can be subdivided into two parts. The former part is called the pre-flood season (reason: in spring, with the weakening of Mongolian high, the western Pacific subtropical high strengthens to the north-west. The southerly airflow on the northwest side of the subtropical high continuously transports the water vapor from the Southern Ocean to Guangdong. At this time, the cold air in the north still has some influence. The cold and warm air currents violently crossed over Guangdong to form heavy rainfall, and the rain belt remained in South China. The first flood season can last until mid-June, and then with the further strengthening of the subtropical high, the rain belt will also be carried northward to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River to form Meiyu. Until mid-July, Guangdong was controlled by subtropical high and had a short drying period. In the middle and late July, as the subtropical high moved northward to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, Guangdong was controlled by the east airflow from the south side of the subtropical high, and tropical weather systems (easterly waves and typhoons) began to affect Guangdong, bringing rainfall to Guangdong, which lasted until September. After that, the continental cold high intensified, and the subtropical high quickly moved eastward and southward. By 10, the continental air mass controlled most of Chinese mainland.
