Lifting and expansion of Tangpu Reservoir

From June 5438 to February 2000, on the eve of Xiaoshunjiang Project, in order to strengthen the operation management of water supply and drainage project, Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to implement the reform of water supply and drainage system and set up Shaoxing Water Group. Since then, Xiaoshunjiang Project has started to shift from the construction stage to the stage of exerting operational benefits. In the next three years, the "newborn" bred by the system reform of water group took over the Xiaoshunjiang project, implemented the market-oriented transformation of water supply, vigorously expanded the water supply area of Xiaoshunjiang project, and strived to send Xiaoshunjiang water to every household in Yu Shao Plain.

According to the plan, the first phase of Songliuling Water Purification Plant will be built according to the daily water consumption of 400,000 cubic meters, and the second phase will be completed around 20 10. The purpose of the second phase project is mainly to expand another water production line of the water plant.

In 2003, there was another turning point. That year, Shaoxing suffered a drought once in 50 years. Due to severe drought and continuous high temperature, domestic water consumption and industrial water consumption have soared, and the water supply has reached 360,000 cubic meters a day, approaching the limit of water plants. Behind this incident, in addition to the weather, there are the expanding production capacity in the process of industrialization and the corresponding increased demand for industrial water and urban water.

In 2004, the then party secretary said emotionally at a meeting that Xiaoshunjiang is the source of Shaoxing people's life, and the second phase of the project must be launched as soon as possible. This is of great significance to Shaoxing's economic and social development, the coordinated development of urban and rural areas and the improvement of people's living standards.

On August 2, 2004, kloc-0, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the second phase of Xiaoshunjiang water supply project. This means that a new water supply network is being woven. The second phase of the project mainly includes the expansion project of Tangpu Reservoir Pump Station, the daily expansion project of 400,000 cubic meters of Songliuling Water Purification Plant, and the supporting water supply pipe network project connecting the urban area and the southern part of Shaoxing County.

On June 9, 2006, the second phase of Xiaoshunjiang water supply project was completed.

The completion of the second phase of the project makes Shaoxing's water supply network more perfect: after being treated by Songliuling Waterworks, Xiaoshun River passes through two water supply pipelines around Shaoxing city and county, forming a dense underground pipe network in Shaoxing Plain north of Huiji Mountain. The southern part of this network is near the foot of Huiji Mountain, along the towns of Fu Sheng, Pingshui, Jianhu, Lanting and Fuquan, and reaches Yangxunqiao Town bordering Xiaoshan. Cross 104 National Highway in the north, and reach the towns in the north of Shaoxing along National Highway 329. The whole network has thousands of kilometers of pipelines, and the water supply area is 1000 square kilometers.

The second phase of Xiaoshunjiang water supply project not only expanded the regional water supply capacity and scale of Shaoxing city and county, but also effectively improved the traditional water supply pattern of "one reservoir, one factory and one network" and formed a water supply network of "two-way water supply and multi-point water inflow", which further enhanced the anti-risk ability of water supply system to deal with sudden pipe network accidents and provided an effective guarantee for truly realizing "uninterrupted water supply".
