It was open all night. At the same time, I am also looking forward to hanging portraits of my ancestors and asking them to spend the Lantern Festival with us. People are used to making dragon lanterns, and all villages have fixed the date to welcome them, which cannot be changed. Despite the bad weather, even if it rains against the wind, lanterns should be played on fixed days to welcome it.

Welcome the dragon lantern, the procedure is complicated and exquisite, and there are many taboos. People believe in the dragon god and regard the dragon as the support of "good weather" and the system of "abundant crops", so everything is light-oriented, and everyone is pious and cautious everywhere to avoid any mistakes.

Making faucets: tapping faucets with bamboo must be "stolen". Its "stealing" method, after checking whether a bamboo is used, gathers several people to cut it at night. After cutting, put a red envelope on the bamboo root and it will be on fire. The new faucet plate and bridge light plate were also stolen. The stolen person receives a red envelope, regardless of the reward, which is auspicious and never complains. The name "stealing" is actually "buying".

There are many leaders' meetings or other organizations in each village to prepare for receiving lights. As soon as the Spring Festival is over, folk artists are invited to put up taps. After careful pasting and daubing, I covered my eyes with two pieces of small red paper. On the day of welcoming the lights, a "step out" ceremony was held, and the faucet was carried to the hall. Cereals, cakes and sweets were offered in the case, and the Taoist priest (Mr. Nianfo) opened the little red paper after "inviting the dragon god" and said "open your eyes and see". After that, the whole village worshipped with incense sticks.

In the evening, it's time. Every family greets the bridge lamp (all young and strong men), takes a bath in the back (showing piety), carries the bridge lamp, and lets the cannon "go out" to the open field. The whole village is connected by bridges and lanterns, and the whole dragon lantern is complete, that is, the mighty departure of "going to the temple" (running to the treasure hall) means welcoming God. At this time, some villages have one pair or two pairs of bridge lights according to the number of bridge lights, which is numb and crunchy. Then, according to the custom, set a course for Youlong. At the front of the procession are venerable old people, who hold incense trays and put incense burners on them, followed by those who carry guns and candles, then knock on the "double-headed gong" and "tiger's head card", and then take the lead. Children with lights scattered all over the floor, such as fish, shrimp and crabs, are the most excited and unrestrained. Incense sticks are accompanied by bridge lights and followed by dragons. It's really like "when the dragon travels, the shrimp, soldiers and crabs will escort the driver." Dragon lanterns swim around the fields, saying "take a walk", also called "check wheat". Because the road is narrow, it is inevitable to trample on wheat seedlings, but no one blames them. It is said that the dragon lantern is too much, and the more you step on it, the more chaotic it is.

In addition, there are customs of "jumping lights" and "gathering lights", depending on the situation on the spot. "Jumping lights" means running lights. The man who greeted the lamp pushed the bridge lamp over his head and walked forward. Suddenly he ran back and retreated a few hundred meters. After running breathlessly, he swam slowly forward. I don't know who shouted "pull!" In an instant, the dragon lantern was pulled to the tail again, so once it was pulled, it was put on until the audience dispersed. "jumping lights" are mostly carried out on long and wide avenues, and there are also bends. Crossing the bridge is called "broken triangle"

When Youlong goes back to the village, if there is an open space, he will also "play lanterns" for fun. When the faucet swims to the square, it can only move in circles. When Longwei entered the square, the faucet was surrounded by layers of bridge lights. The faucet must find a way to escape from the encirclement and say, "The faucet has turned over." At this time, from a distance, its lights are one after another, and the lights are staggered, which is the most spectacular. When the faucet is out of the circle, the dragon's tail must surround the faucet. If you play it again and again, you must play it enough.

Then, the bridge lights light candles and go home, and people set off firecrackers at the door of every house to welcome them. The faucet was carried to the fragrant world, saying, "Everyone goes to his place". Please ask Mr. Buddha to praise the dragon head. After the praise, people hold the faucet high and people compete to drill under it. This is the so-called "drilling faucet". It is said that after drilling through the tap, with the blessing of the dragon god, children will grow up quickly, women will have children early, and adults will live a long life.

Finally, send the "Longkou Pearl", that is, the ball lamp of Longkou, write "Kirin Baby Son" and give it to the newlywed wife to have a boy as soon as possible. The recipient was ecstatic, gave the leader a red envelope and enjoyed a sumptuous banquet.

Dragon lantern is the main light. In order to help the entertainment of dragon lanterns, there are various "ode lanterns". There are Bulong, Silkworm Lantern (Paper Dragon), Lion (Single Lion, Double Lion, Lion Dance and Nine Lions), Taige, Lantern, Car, Thirty-six Lines, Big Head and First Class, which are available in our village and other villages. Among the people, "dragon" and "lion" are the most popular. In order to win the lottery, anyone who sees "Bulong", "Silkworm Dragon" or "Lion" swimming in it will put a stick and set off firecrackers to greet him. Stay and dance the dragon and lion, and give red envelopes or fruit bags (cakes).

Anyone who wants to dance the dragon and lion has considerable skill training. The best dances of the Crouching Silkworm Dragon are Xie's "Yi Long Flying Around the Column" and the White House's "Arch Dance". Xie's silkworm dragon entered the hall full of beaded lamps and soared up and down around the column without touching the beaded lamps, winning applause. The silkworm dragon in the White House weaves around the street like an arch, tumbling and dancing vividly. The most famous dragon lantern is the "Paixi Dragon Lantern" around Qingxi. The faucet is more than ten feet high, and hundreds of lights are hung on both sides of the faucet, including Longkou lights, 54 on New Year's Day and 36 on New Year's Day. In the old society, there was a saying that "a good man doesn't serve as a soldier, and a good woman doesn't look at the lights". Although the fire trees are everywhere, the gongs and drums are loud and the batons are loud and lively, women can't enjoy themselves as much as men. Generally, you can't go to the street, you can only peek in the middle of the building and in a quiet place. After the founding of New China, men and women were equal. Women can not only squeeze into the street, touch each other side by side and enjoy watching lanterns, but also join the team that welcomes lanterns, show their talents, add color and help their interest.
