See Meng Haoran again on the way to Yangzhou from the Yellow Crane Tower-[Tang] Li Bai

Old friends frequently waved to me, bid farewell to the Yellow Crane Tower, and traveled to Yangzhou in this beautiful spring filled with catkins and flowers. My friend's sail shadow faded away and disappeared at the end of the blue sky, only seeing the first line of the Yangtze River and heading for the distant horizon.

Modern Translation of Ancient Poetry

When the Yellow Crane Tower sent his old friend Meng Haoran to Yangzhou, it was the late spring season when willows were like smoke and flowers were blooming. The lonely shadow of the sailboat gradually disappeared in the blue sky, and only the vast river was still silently heading for the horizon.

This poem has its own special sense of farewell. It is not only different from Wang Bo's farewell to Du Shaofu's Biography of Ren Shu, but also different from Qu Yuan's Nine Songs, which seems to be "parting in sorrow, parting in sorrow, knowing each other in joy", and there is no encouragement and spur from Gao Shi's Don't Move Big. This poem can be said to be a poetic parting of a proud person, a parting full of joy and a parting full of yearning. This is because this is not only the parting of two unusual romantic poets, but also because this parting is related to a prosperous era, a prosperous season, a prosperous farewell place and a destination that prosperous friends want to go to. In the happy parting, it also carries the yearning of the poet Li Bai, which makes this parting unique in poetry.

The opening sentence of "Yellow Crane Tower, an old friend speaks western language" is not only to point out the topic, but also because the Yellow Crane Tower is a world-famous scenic spot and should be a place where two poets and friends often get together and hang out. So when it comes to the Yellow Crane Tower, it brings out various poetic life contents related to it. What about the Yellow Crane Tower itself? According to legend, this is also the place where immortals fly to the sacred heavenly palace in Cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Carrying Immortals to Heaven". This is a kind of association with Meng Haoran's happy trip to Yangzhou in Li Bai's mind, adding that kind of happy and imaginative atmosphere.

The words "Fireworks descend in Yangzhou in March" and "Fireworks" are added to "March", indicating that the season when the poet bid farewell to his friend Meng Haoran in the Yellow Crane Tower is fireworks in March. In this flowery spring March, in this prosperous Kaiyuan era, isn't Yangzhou City in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River a place of fireworks? Fireworks in March not only reproduces the beautiful scenery of the bustling place in late spring, but also reveals the flavor of the times. This sentence has beautiful artistic conception and beautiful writing, so it is no wonder that Sun Zhu of A Qing Dynasty called it "the eternal quatrain".

The last two sentences of the poem, "The lonely sail is far away from the sky, and the Yangtze River is only flowing in the sky", seem like a scene, but there is a poetic detail in the scene. Li Bai didn't just send his friend to the boat, but always watched his friend go down the river by boat. The ship has already left, and the poet is still looking at the "lonely sail" in the distance by the river. Li Bai's eyes looked at the sail shadow until it gradually blurred and disappeared at the end of the blue sky, which shows that it has been a long time. The sail shadow has disappeared, and Li Bai is still staring at it, only to notice that a spring water is flowing to the distance where the water and the sky meet. "Just look at the Yangtze River flowing in the sky" is the scene in front of us, but who can say that this is simply painting scenery? Li Bai's deep affection for his friends and his yearning for visiting Yangzhou are not reflected in this poetic infatuation. Isn't the poet's heart ebbing and flowing like an eastward river?

The whole article, not a "farewell", not a word to write the feeling of parting. The first two sentences only explain the time, place, the person who was sent away and the destination in narrative form, while the last two sentences only write the farewell scene in descriptive style. However, there is a deep friendship between the poet and someone, and there is sadness in the poet's heart. The poet's beautiful yearning for the prosperous Yangzhou was vividly expressed on paper. When sending Yuan Er to Anxi

-Wang Wei

The rain in the early morning moistened the dust of the land, the inn of the inn, the branches and leaves of the inn, and a new leaf

Sincerely advise friends to drink a glass of wine, and it is difficult to meet their relatives when they go out to the sun.

This is a poem to send a friend to the northwest frontier. Anxi, the abbreviation of Anxi Duhu, was established by the central government of the Tang Dynasty to govern the western regions, located in Qiuci City (now Kuqa, Xinjiang). The friend named Yuan went to Anxi on the orders of the imperial court. In the Tang Dynasty, most people who traveled westward from Chang 'an saw them off in Weicheng. Weicheng is the old city of Xianyang, Qin Dou, in the northwest of Chang 'an, on the north bank of Weishui.

Write the time, place and atmosphere of farewell in the first two sentences. In the morning, the Acropolis Guest House extends from east to west, and the postal road has no end. Willow trees surround the guest house and the postal road is on both sides. All this seems to be a common sight, but it is picturesque and picturesque. Yu Chao plays an important role here. The rain didn't last long in the morning, but it stopped as soon as it got wet. On the main road from Chang 'an West, cars and horses usually cross and the dust is flying, but now the rain has suddenly stopped, the weather is fine and the road looks clean and refreshing. The word "light dust" means wet, and it is used in a measured way here, indicating that the rain is clear and the dust is not wet, just right, just like God's will, and a light dust road is specially arranged for people who travel far away. Hostel is originally the companion of travelers; Willow is a symbol of parting. Having chosen these two things, I naturally intend to end my farewell. They are usually associated with sadness and hatred, showing a feeling of ecstasy. However, today, because of a shower of morning rain, there is a clear and fresh look-"the guest house is green and willow is new." On weekdays, the roads are dusty, and the color of willows on the roadside is inevitably shrouded in gray dust and fog. It takes a rain to wash its green color again, so "new" is because of the new willow color, which reflects the green guest house. In a word, from clear skies to clean roads, from green guest houses to green willows, a picture with fresh and clear colors has been formed, which provides a typical natural environment for this farewell. This is a affectionate parting, but it is not a sad parting. Instead, it reveals a light and hopeful mood. Words such as "light dust", "green" and "new" have soft and lively voices, which strengthen readers' feelings.
