What should the carrier do if the ship is delayed due to bad weather?
Advocate immunity. If the maritime weather causes delay or loss, the ship shall write a maritime declaration, and the carrier may claim exemption. According to Article 42 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Maritime Law, "carrier" refers to the person who enters into a contract of carriage of goods by sea with the shipper in his own name or on behalf of others.
