The environment of the bureau compound has been completely afforested and beautified. The courtyard is tree-lined, evergreen all the year round, full of vitality and flowers.

After the comprehensive reform of stations, the development of meteorological cause has been promoted and the meteorological service function has been continuously enhanced. The Meteorological Bureau has a first-class environment and work in this county. This bureau has been awarded the Red Flag Unit of grass-roots business by Shaanxi Meteorological Bureau, the Advanced Collective by Shaanxi Provincial Personnel Department and Provincial Meteorological Bureau, and promoted to the municipal civilized unit. Zichang Meteorological Bureau was established in 1956, which belongs to the National General Climate Station. It has employees and covers an area of 4034 square meters. During the rainstorm service on July 4-5, 2002, due to accurate forecast and timely service, the disaster degree was minimized, which was commended by China Meteorological Bureau, Provincial Bureau, Yan 'an Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. Qin Dahe, director of China Meteorological Bureau, personally visited Zichang and affirmed and praised the work of our bureau.

In 2003, it was promoted to a municipal civilized unit. Hengshan Station is a national basic station, located at the top of Lijiawa Mountain, with an altitude of111m. It is a national five-level hardship station and a remote station.

The station has employees 1 1 person and 3 retired cadres. It covers an area of 354 square meters. During the construction of the business building, the gate, concierge, garage and boiler room in Hengshan County were also completed at the same time, and the wall, yard hardening and dormitory renovation were also completed one after another, which made the station look brand-new.
