Is the peony parrot afraid of heat?

Peony parrot is a tropical parrot, which is mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical areas when living in the wild. Therefore, the peony parrot has relatively high tolerance to hot weather and can adapt to a certain degree of high temperature environment. However, like humans, parrots can't stand extreme high temperature and hot weather, and some measures need to be taken to protect them from heat stress.

In summer or hot weather, we can provide the following measures for peony parrots:

1. Provide cold water at any time to ensure that parrots can drink fresh water at any time.

2. Set a cool and well-ventilated place in the cage or living area of parrots to ensure that they can avoid strong sunlight and hot air and keep cool.

3. Provide enough splashing opportunities for parrots. You can use a spray bottle to gently spray mist around them to help them cool down.

4. Avoid placing the parrot cage in direct sunlight and choose a cool environment.

5. If there is air conditioning at home, make sure that the living area of the parrot will not be excessively cooled.
