What are the wonders of Lake Geneva, Switzerland?

Standing on the edge of Lake Geneva, you can see the Alps around Munyua and the snowy Mount Wulang, which are reflected on the calm Lake Lan Qi. It's really a wonder. The most striking scenery facing Lake Geneva is the Geneva Fountain.

Lake Geneva, also known as Lake Lemmon or Lake Zinev, is a famous scenic spot and health resort in western Europe, located in the suburb of Geneva, Switzerland, with an altitude of 375 meters. It is 72km long, with an average width of 8km, the maximum width of13.5km, the average water depth of 80m and the deepest point of 3 10/0m.

The area of 58 1 km2 of Lake Geneva belongs to Switzerland and France, of which 347 km2 belongs to Switzerland and 234 km2 belongs to France. The lake flows from east to west and looks like a crescent moon. Lack of moon? Part of it borders on France. Lake Geneva is the largest lake in the Alps. The lake doesn't freeze all year round, and its color is blue. On the calm lake, waterfowl such as white swan play, yachts and colorful sails cruise, showing a peaceful and quiet scene.

The main water source of Lake Geneva is the Rhone River, which is formed by the melting snow of Rhone Glacier. The Rhone River flows from the eastern end between Ruitu-Villeneuve and Saint-Jean-Yves in France, flows out from the western end and flows through Geneva.

The main tributaries of Lake Geneva are the Drance River in the south and the Weinozhi River in the north. The whole lake is divided into two parts, namely, the big lake in the east and the small lake in the west. There is a lake earthquake here: the water level of the lake fluctuates obviously, and the lake fluctuates rhythmically between the two banks, which is one of the unique features of Lake Geneva.

Geneva Fountain is located at the exit of Lake Geneva near the Rhone River, facing Rousseau Island across the Mont Blanc Bridge. The height of the fountain is 145 meters, which goes straight into the sky and can be seen anywhere in Neva.

This is an artificial fountain, which was built in 1886. At that time, the spraying height was only 30 meters. 189 1 year was rebuilt by the famous Geneva hydraulic engineer Tulletti, and the jet height reached 85 meters. 1947, the Swiss government decided to rebuild it again and increase the injection height. At present, the fountain is powered by two large water pumps with a weight of 16 tons installed in the lake, spraying 30,000 cubic meters of water every minute, spraying at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, and the amount of water in the air is nearly 7 tons. The nozzle diameter is 16 cm, and the design is exquisite, which makes the fountain spray strongly and vertically. The lighting equipment of the fountain is also very complicated, and the bottom-up spotlights can illuminate the whole fountain in bad weather.

When there is no wind, the fountain stands between the lake and the sky like a huge silver column.

When there is wind, because of the different wind direction and wind force, the fountain forms a fan with different directions and sizes. Under the sunlight, the scattered spray is like a shining star.

When the wind is too strong, the spring water sprayed into the air will float along the wind direction, like a thin wisp of smoke, and the spray will fall on the lake far away from the fountain. After nightfall, the fountain is illuminated by a white spotlight, just like a girl wrapped in white, standing in the lake, and countless water droplets stir the reflected lights on the lake.

Geneva Fountain is the pride of Geneva people, a symbol of the prosperity and development of the city, and a model of the perfect combination of artificial beauty and natural beauty. It has become one of the world-famous scenic spots, attracting countless tourists from all over the world.
