Located in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province, it is the first solid rocket engine design and research institute approved by the Fifth Hospital of the former Ministry of National Defense, focusing on the major pre-research tasks of solid rocket engine design in China's strategic and tactical missiles and aerospace engineering and related fields. After the development in 2000, forty-one institutes have become professional research institutions integrating solid rocket engine technology research and design with outstanding scientific research achievements and leading technical level. It is a national first-class professional research institute and the first batch of key military protection units. It has the only national key laboratory of national defense science and technology in the field of solid rocket engine in China, and the design ability of solid rocket engine is leading in China, close to the advanced level abroad. At the same time, 41 universities have four master's degree programs and four doctoral degree programs approved by the state. The postdoctoral research center 4 1 has successively undertaken the research and major pre-research tasks of various missile weapon engines in China, designed power devices for Dongfanghong series communication satellites and designed escape system power devices for Shenzhou series spacecraft. At present, a rocket-led weather modification system for rain enhancement and hail suppression has been built, and the market share of products has reached, which has made important contributions to disaster reduction and prevention in China.
