Georgetown weather
My family and I arrived in Penang, Malaysia this morning. It's sunny and hot here, so we decided to go to the beach near the hotel. My sister and I tried paragliding. I feel like a bird. Gliding is exciting. For lunch, we ate something very special-Malaysian yellow noodles. Very delicious. In the afternoon, we went to Georgetown by bike. There are many new buildings there now, but many old buildings are still there. In the old place of Georgetown, Haiyuan Street, we saw the house of China Merchants a hundred years ago. I wonder what life was like here before. I really like wandering around the town.
How much a day has changed. My father and I decided to go to Penang Mountain today. We wanted to climb to the top of the mountain, but it began to rain soon, so we decided to take the train. Because there were too many people, we spent more than an hour waiting for the train. But when we reached the top of the mountain, it rained heavily. We have no umbrella, so the weather is wet and cold. Very bad! We can't see anything because of the bad weather. My father didn't bring enough money, so we only ate a bowl of rice and some fish. The food tastes good because I'm hungry!
