Brief introduction of cloud height description

The height of the lowest layer of cloud or shadow phenomenon from the ground. Cloud height is an important basis for meteorological forecast, and its change is very important for analyzing the evolution of future weather system. It is also a project that safety aviation needs to know. Cloud height is related to humidity, system and air wind. In addition, there are its own characteristics such as the shape, structure, color, cloud amount, cloud direction, cloud speed and photoelectric phenomenon. The relationship between cloud height and wind speed is as follows: the closer the cloud moving speed is to the ground wind speed, the lower the cloud height, usually around tens to hundreds of meters, and vice versa. For medium-high clouds, the moving speed is opposite to that of low-altitude winds, but when it is consistent with the airflow in a certain layer at high altitude (see the prevailing airflow on the high-altitude map), the height of this layer is roughly the height of this cloud. If the high and low air currents are consistent, it depends on the speed of the cloud. In addition, there is a positive correlation between low clouds and relative humidity. If there is a southerly warm and humid airflow at the low altitude behind the high pressure or in front of the warm trough, the cloud height is lower than that in the northerly airflow in front of the high pressure.
