Gao 'an Weather History

Recently, an old-time site was discovered in Shanghu Township, Gao 'an City, Jiangxi Province, which is also the first old-time wilderness site discovered in Jiangxi Province. Archaeologists in Jiangxi declared to National Cultural Heritage Administration, China that after a month's excavation, more than 5,000 artifacts from the old times were unearthed, which played an important role in understanding the characteristics, habits and environment of human life in the old times.

At present, the Jiangxi archaeological team is still nervously excavating the site. Because the soil in the south is mainly acidic, the soil in the site is relatively loose. In the process of excavation, the staff should be cautious, coupled with the cold weather and strong wind during the day, which has certain influence on the excavation speed. But when the staff saw the cultural relics being mined one by one, they were very excited and more motivated. There are three areas in the site, most of which are mainly stone tools, which were the tools of human life at that time.

There are five Paleolithic periods in China, namely, Xihoudu culture, Yuanmou stone tools, Sheikh culture, Lantian people culture and Dongguto site, which started about 3 million years ago and lasted about 6.5438+million years. At that time, human productivity was still very low. They only use some simple stones and wooden tools and simply build simple houses to live in groups. Because of their age, they can only be identified by the stone tools or human fossils left behind. However, this period is a very important period in the history of human development. It is a very important part of human progress that humans began to use tools to find food and open up wilderness, so the study of cultural relics in this period is also very important.

The discovery of Paleolithic sites in Gao 'an City, Jiangxi Province is of great significance. Although it is still being mined, the research and analysis of unearthed cultural relics have also begun. We can better infer the living conditions and distribution of human beings living in Shanghu Township at that time, and let us know more about human beings in the old times.
