Basic information of scenic spots Chongqing Yangtze River cableway was completed on March 20th, 1986,1October 24th and put into operation, 1987. It is the first large-scale passenger ropeway designed and manufactured by our country across the Yangtze River, and has the reputation of the first "air corridor" in the Yangtze River and the "Airbus" in the city.
The ropeway starts from Xinhua Road (Chang'an Temple) in Yuzhong District in the north and ends at Shangxin Street (Longmen Trench) in Nan 'an District in the south, connecting Yuzhong District, a prosperous business district, with Nan 'an District of Shancheng. It is an important part of constructing Chongqing's unique three-dimensional transportation network, and it is a city business card that complements Chongqing's landscape and humanistic characteristics and mountain city scenery.
