According to the daily data of air quality in Jinan from 200/kloc-0 to 2005, the characteristics and causes of air quality in Jinan were analyzed. The results show that the average air pollution index of Jinan in recent five years is 96.2, and the excellent and good rate is only 64.7%. The average annual days of light pollution and light pollution are 1. 24. 8 days, and the days of moderate pollution in five years are 20 days, and the air pollution is generally serious. The relationship between wind speed and daily air pollution index is approximately U-shaped, and the breeze or static wind below 2 m/s will inhibit the diffusion of pollutants, accumulate pollutants and cause serious pollution. When the wind speed is greater than 6 m/s, the concentration of inhalable particles in the air will increase again due to the uplift of ground dust or the invasion of upstream dust. When the surface wind speed is 2 ~ 6 m/s, the pollutant concentration is relatively low. One kind of moderate pollution is produced in the south of cyclone and before and after cold front, accompanied by strong wind, dust and sand blowing weather, and the other kind is accompanied by small wind, with smoke suspended in the atmosphere. The clean day with good air quality is mainly affected by the cold high pressure behind the cold front. So the air in Jinan is very poor, it's hard to say.
