Discovery point-discovery base
The exploration base is the location of the Royal Research Ship (RRS Discovery). Discovery is the last traditional wooden three-masted ship built in Britain. It was built by robert scott, the most famous British polar explorer. It is 52 meters long, with a displacement of 1.570 and a top speed of 8 knots (15km).
