Suxi Town-Beautiful Scenery Historically, Suxi is a place with mountains and rivers, deep forests and fresh air. Foyun Mountain Scenic Area is centered on Shuangxi Village, with Furong Mountain and Jinzhuping in the north, Shiwuyan in the east, Peng Yan and Shiziyan in the south and Qiaoxi Reservoir in the west. Fu, a tourism expert and university professor, called it "a unique spectacle in the world". Not far away, you can see the "Zhi" Waterfall of Linkouxi, which is about 50 meters high. Waterfalls keep flowing and winding all year round, just like white dragons roaming in the bamboo sea. Located in Dingxue and Xianxia villages, 3 kilometers away from Shuangxi, watching this scenic spot on the top of the mountain between the two villages is like a beautiful phoenix holding its head high and singing, which is called "Phoenix spreading its wings". The murmur of the waterfall is like the beautiful song of the phoenix. The long history makes folk myths and legends abound here. Kannonji in Shuangxi Longshan was founded in 1000 BC. In AD 2 18, Sun Quan, who was suffering from a strange disease, came to Kannonji in Shuangxi to seek the treatment of Guanyin. Later, he went to Li Xigang and Junxi to collect herbs. He was tired on the road, so he took a bath in Xianlingtan, and after returning to itis "to take the decoction, he will be fine soon." In winter, steam escapes from the Tibetan Dragon Cave. It is said that there is a fire dragon buried in the cave, and it hisses. So there is no frost and snow around the cave, and the temperature is several degrees higher than other places. Of course, this is only a legend, and the scientific explanation is that geothermal energy flows upward through cracks in the earth's crust and gushes out in this hole. There is a famous patio spring in Gu Quan. No matter how long the weather is dry, this spring will never run out, clear and sweet. There stands a tall rock next to the spring, which looks like a man. Legend has it that this stone man guards the clear spring for the immortal to drink, and no layman can get close to it.
