Prevention and treatment

We should strengthen the daily feeding management and improve the ventilation conditions of rabbit houses. The windows should be wide, and the rabbit house should have skylights, ventilation pipes or exhaust fans to make the rabbit house air circulate. Especially in the hot period, the ground of the rabbit house can be sprinkled with cold water or placed with ice cubes, and bricks and wood soaked in cold water can be placed. If possible, an exhaust fan and a hair dryer can be installed. Try to reduce the temperature of rabbit house; Avoid direct sunlight, rabbit huts and sports fields should have shading equipment; Ensure an adequate supply of cool drinking water; Cages should be spacious to prevent overcrowding; During long-distance transportation, the trunk should be equipped with shading equipment to prevent overcrowding, and it is best to run in the morning and evening or at night, and ensure adequate drinking water.

If heatstroke is found, first aid measures should be taken immediately: first, move the rabbit to a ventilated and cool place, and then take emergency measures: wet compress the head with a cold towel; Ear vein bleeding to prevent brain and lung congestion; Drink light cold salt water; Take 3 ~ 5 drops of ten drops of water orally and 3 ~ 5 pills of Rendan orally; Injection of camphor water needle into ear vein.
