Xu Heng doesn't pick pears on the roadside.
When traveling in midsummer, I was thirsty because of the hot weather. There happened to be a pear tree by the roadside. Passers-by went to pick pears to eat, but Xu Heng sat motionless under the tree. Someone asked inexplicably, "Why not pick pears to quench your thirst?" Xu Heng replied: "If you don't have your own pears, you can't just pick them!" The man laughed at him for being pedantic: "The world is so chaotic that pear trees have no owners!" " "Xu Heng primly said," although pears have no owners, don't our hearts have no owners? "
This story is not fiction. According to the History of Yuan Dynasty, Xu Heng Lu Zhai was born in the troubled times at the end of Jin and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty. Li fengcun (now zhongzhan district, Jiaozuo City), a native of Hanoi, Huaizhou. In 1208, Xu Heng's parents moved to Xiyang Slow Lane (now Xugang Village, Xindian Town) in the west of Xinzheng to escape the war, and Xu Heng was born here on September 29th of the following year. In A.D. 1232, Mongolian soldiers marched into Xinzheng, and 24-year-old Xu Heng fled with others. The story happened on the road. After reading this story, I can't help but be deeply impressed by Xu Heng's personality charm: Is Xu Heng's approach pedantic? Don't! There is a saying that "Hunger is the greatest truth". As a refugee, Xu Heng can "never pick pears", which is really commendable. This state is by no means something that ordinary people can do. As the saying goes, "Aspiring is not high in years". Zheng Zhongzhi, former director of the Party History Office of xinzheng city, said that the History of the Yuan Dynasty recorded that Xu Heng was a "juvenile alien" who was gifted and outstanding when he was young. At the age of seven, Xu Heng entered school. He studies during the day and thinks at night. Sometimes the questions he asks surprise the teacher and he can't even answer them. For the unity of knowledge and action, Xu Heng strictly practiced it and was highly respected by people. The story "Don't eat pears without owners" was selected as the teaching material by Life and Philosophy, a compulsory course of ideological and political education in People's Education Press.
