Respondents also believe that some bad habits are an important part of British quintessence, such as British people like to get drunk.

Most interviewees said that Britain is famous for paying attention to etiquette, and many people think that Britain is the most polite country in the world. The feature mentioned by many interviewees is that the British are good at queuing neatly. More than 45% of the respondents said that the humor that British people appreciate most is satire. It seems that many British people like watching TV dramas: 45% of the respondents said that they watch TV dramas for more than three hours a week. Respondents explained that the most important reason why they like watching TV plays is that TV plays help them escape from reality.

British people also like good deals, either discounted goods in supermarkets or "buy one get one free". 65% of the respondents said that many British people can't help comparing themselves with their neighbors and friends.

The British are very concerned about the royal family and big stars. Many British people regard stars as good role models and want to imitate their lifestyle.

Other characteristics are that British people are dissatisfied with their weight, pay close attention to road information, like to ask others how their trip was, like to eat fried food, and like to postpone their tasks until the last minute.
