English weather in junior high school

A cold front is coming from Canada, and a warm front is heading north from the Pacific Ocean. At the same time, precipitation is developing in the south of the state, while strong winds are moving down from the north. If the weather is cold enough, there may be 3 to 5 inches of snow on Thursday or Friday. Otherwise there may be heavy rain. However, long before that, the possibility that the moon may be pushed out by the wind still exists. So frankly, we have no idea what the weather will be like next week.

This is roughly the weekend weather forecast of the local channel in Portland ... this is one of the most bizarre and true weather forecasts I have ever seen. What is refreshing is that these so-called meteorologists (also known as meteorologists ... or women) understand the truth of this industry-one can never predict the weather, just as one can never predict life.
