What is the climate and environment like in Zambia?

Zambia has a tropical humid climate and savannah climate, with high temperatures all year round. The precipitation can be divided into dry and wet seasons in a year, and the total precipitation is small. It can be divided into three seasons.

1. Rainy season (November to April) This season is the main rainy season in Zambia, and there will be a lot of precipitation across the country. In the south and west, precipitation is greater than in the northeast. Temperatures are usually between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius, with high humidity.

2. Cold season (May to August) This season is winter in Zambia, with lower temperatures, usually between 15 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius.

3. Hot season (September to October) This season is the dry season in Zambia, with higher temperatures, usually between 30 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius. During this season, most areas receive very little precipitation, but there is a small amount of precipitation in the northern region.

4. It should be noted that due to Zambia’s diverse climate types and terrain, climate conditions may vary from place to place. For example, the climate in the south and west is drier than in the northeast, while the climate in the north is wetter than the south and west.
