Notice of Jiaozuo Municipal People's Government on Implementing Motor Vehicle Restriction Measures

In order to effectively reduce motor vehicle pollutant emissions and continuously improve the air quality in Jiaozuo City, Jiaozuo Municipal Government decided to implement motor vehicle restriction measures in some areas of the main city according to the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution and the Law of the People's Republic of China on Road Traffic Safety. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. Restricted area of Jiaozuo

South of Film and Television Road (from Puji Road to Shanyang Road), west of Shanyang Road (from Film and Television Road to Renmin Road), south of Renmin Road (from Shanyang Road to Zhongyuan Road), west of Zhongyuan Road (from Renmin Road to Century Road), north of Century Road (from Zhongyuan Road to Shanyang Road) and Shanyang Road.

Second, the time limit for Jiaozuo

From July 2, 218, it will be restricted from 7: to 21: every Monday to Friday, and there will be no restrictions on legal holidays.

iii. regulations on traffic restrictions in Jiaozuo

(1) according to the last Arabic numeral of the motor vehicle license plate (including the temporary license plate) (the last digit of the license plate is alphabetic, which shall prevail), two numbers are restricted every working day, namely,

motor vehicles with the last Arabic numeral of the license plate of 1 and 6 are restricted on Monday, on Tuesday of 2 and 7, on Wednesday of 3 and 8, and on Thursday of 4 and 9. Saturdays and sundays that are adjusted to working days due to holidays on legal holidays shall be restricted according to the working days corresponding to the holidays.

(2) Vehicles not subject to restrictions:

1. Military vehicles (including armed police vehicles), police cars, fire engines, ambulances and engineering rescue vehicles;

2. Buses, large and medium-sized buses, taxis (including cruise taxis and online taxis registered with the transportation department of our city) and school buses;

3. Administrative law enforcement vehicles and special vehicles for road obstacle removal that are painted with uniform marks on the exterior of the vehicle body and perform official duties;

4. The exterior of the car body shall be painted with uniform marks for sanitation, gardening, municipal administration (including sludge transportation), heat, water supply, power supply, gas supply, oil supply, communication, postal service (including newspaper distribution and express delivery), mortgage, insurance survey, news interview, medical waste transfer vehicles, etc.

5. Vehicles with foreign number plates;

6. New energy vehicles with special number plates for new energy vehicles;

7. Funeral vehicles in funeral homes.

IV. Large freight cars (including new energy trucks)

All kinds of large freight cars (including new energy trucks) should comply with the above regulations, and also comply with the regulations of Jiaozuo City on the restriction and prohibition of trucks; Vehicles that have been put on record for traffic shall abide by this restriction.

v. Special weather

In case of severe or above polluted weather during the traffic restriction period, it is necessary to start higher-level traffic restriction management measures, and further notice will be given.

VI. Travel routes

It is hoped that the majority of traffic participants will consciously abide by the provisions of this circular, choose the mode of transportation in advance, and plan the travel routes reasonably.

VII. Notice

The traffic management department of the public security organ will deal with motor vehicles driving within the restricted range in violation of the provisions of this notice according to law through video surveillance or road inspection by police.
